It's hot and sunshiny for Nearly all of the year in Egypt and there's not very much purpose for an umbrella, unless you apply one to protect you from the sunlight. Wintertimes (November to February) are usually modest though temperatures at nighttime can deject to the forty Fahrenheit (ten C).

If you are preparing a sail down the Nile River you will prefer to see what the mediocre temperatures are like in Aswan. This will assist you to choose whether to go for that air-conditioned cabin or not. The Red Sea

Temperatures at the Red Sea are in reality analogous to those in Aswan (see graph above) just a bit hotter in wintertime and a bit colder in summertime. Highest average temperatures in the summertime months (May to October) is approximately 85-90 Fahernheit (thirty C). Winter months (November to February) see mediocre temperatures of around 72-78 Fahrenheit (twenty-five C).

Western Desert

If you are preparing a trip to Siwa Oasis or anywhere west of Cairo in the desert, then the temperatures higher up for Aswan are a effective inidcator of what to anticipate. Nighttimes in the desert are much crisper nevertheless and you will require a fine jacket. On March and April a hot current of air, recognised locally as khamsin arrives at its way across the Western Desert getting temperatures spring up abruptly and causing havoc with the sand that blasts in with it. You might undergo these sandstorms as faraway east as Cairo.
